Diana’s Observations:
I’x—the nawal of vitality, mysticism, and natural creative force—expands through the dynamic movement of Power 11 today. As a bridge between the known and unknown, I’x awakens and amplifies elevated states of consciousness. The discerning force of 11 stretches its influence across both the material world and the underworld, illuminating what is conscious and uncovering what is hidden. On 11 I’x, manifestations and lessons intensify, arising through encounters with shadow and deliberate acts of creation.
At this gateway of expansion within the collecting and liberating webs of the K’at Trecena, 11 I’x brings tests in navigating the field of potentiality through sensitivity and choices made beyond logic or reason. When embraced at its highest, this organizing and cunning essence clarifies direction and aligns timing, enabling the intuitive movement and gathering of resources to support projects and amplify creative visions. With the agility of I’x, the unpredictability and challenges stirred by 11 become guides, steering adjustments and redirections that can refine strategies and enhance outcomes.
The ascending force of 11 calls for keen discernment in managing resources and intent, reminding us that the unseen—beliefs, fears, or desires—crystallize into lived experience. I’x amplifies our sensitivity to K’at’s magnetic influences, inviting us to witness not only the blessings we attract, but also the shadows that shape our perceptions and results. 11 I’x suggests that when fear, greed, or aggression surface, they often signal dissonance between the stories we tell ourselves and our true nature—guiding us to deeper self-awareness.
On I’x days, physical strength is favored and can be harnessed for bold acts and swift decisions. Yet the expansive reach of 11, weaving through both the seen and the underworld, calls us to attend to the roots of our intent. Today’s outcomes become mirrors of our inner landscape. To meet this dynamic force with self-knowledge is to stalk the shadow within, transforming unconscious motives into conscious creation. When truth is reclaimed from the dark, experience is liberated from the dictates of hidden fears and guided instead by presence, clear intent, and mastery of self.

Jaguar Spirit Animal:
The Jaguar, or Balam in the Maya language, holds supreme status in K’iche’ and Yucatec traditions. In the Pop Wuj, the Jaguar is profoundly associated with the night and the Underworld (Xibalba), where one of the original four human ancestors is named Dark Jaguar.
The most significant connection is that the nocturnal jaguar is the form the Sun God takes on for its nightly journey through Xibalba. This duality—the daytime sun becoming the night jaguar—makes it a master of both worlds and a symbol of transcendence, power, and the cycle of death and rebirth.
The Jaguar Spirit can be invoked when one needs to face their inner shadows with raw courage or when its formidable energy is required for protection and leadership.
It guides one to access deep, inner power and perceive the hidden truths that exist beneath the surface of reality. Through its mastery of stealth and patience, the Jaguar teaches the perfect timing for every move. It is also called upon for the wisdom to wisely conserve and protect its resources, ensuring no energy is wasted and survival is secured.
Observations by Mayan Spiritual Guides:
11 I’x
“Be careful what you wish for” on this day. Ix, the energy of manifestation from the Earth, meets the strong and directionless number 11.
As I have been considering what to write today, one strong image has come into my head repeatedly. It is the scene from the Sorcerer’s Apprentice, where the apprentice uses his abilities to animate the brushes, mops and sponges, then loses control. This image sums up one possibility of the energy today, unintentional manifestation. It is possibly more important than normal today to stay focused, and have an idea about where you are going with what you are creating. The power of the number 11 is strong, and if harnessed can be very useful. –Mark Elmy
11 I’x
I’x is the high magic that emerges when we believe in ourselves, when we are connected to the whole, aware of the energy that surrounds us and of our inner being. This day invites us to work with our limitations in order to awaken all that wonderful innate power we hold within, to dare to question the way in which we have learned to see reality, to trust our inner guidance and wisdom, to be aware of the situations that have come to our path so that we can listen to their messages, so that we can see what it is that they want to show us.
Today Julajuj I’x invites us to connect in order to be able to perceive that we have a much greater potential than we imagine. –Denise Barrios
