It is also solidity and stability. These are the forces and powers that fuel human destiny. It represents harmony. Its very nature is equilibrium. –Carlos Barrios
Diana’s Observations:
Today, the four-legged guardian of universal balance and raw vitality ascends to the divine planes of Power 13. The visionary Tz’ikin Trecena culminates with an essence of dynamic movement, spiritual power, and cognitive agility. Kej embodies a propensity for achievement, while 13 signifies the potential of the human mind and the movement of the body’s thirteen main joints—marking a day of active, creative determination to fulfill a higher vision.
Kej is the understanding of power through physical existence, governing the four planes of human experience: mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Influenced by the fortune and higher vision of Tz’ikin, this day energizes our capacity to utilize the equilibrium of our entire being to advance our goals toward true satisfaction and freedom.
The mighty stag, standing firmly at the peak of cognitive power today, teaches us that cultivating balance, action, and strength potentiates refined perception—our capacity to see reality as it truly is. This day highlights that our understanding of reality, and what we consider to be laws of nature or fundamental truths, is shaped more by perception than by objective facts alone.
As we complete the thirteen-day cycle of Tz’ikin, the far-reaching sight of the eagle complements the perceptual transmutations and theurgic magic that 13 Kej offers. This convergence of energies reveals how our biases, internal narratives, and societal influences construct our sense of reality.
Today encourages connection with our bodies, physical activity, and the intelligence of nature through its four elements. It marks a potent window of opportunity to break through routine and mental stagnation by invoking visionary states through the revitalization of the body. It is a day to stand firmly, infusing our being with balance and power to ground our mission and move forward with confidence.

Stag symbols show up when we need to act on our instincts and trust ourselves in order to get through life’s obstacles.
We should not let fear guide us, but rather follow the stag totem and spirit animal guides’ path of strength and power with courage. -Alltotems.com
Observations by Mayan Spiritual Guides:
13 Kej
This is a day to connect with the spirit of the wilderness. Energize yourself in the life force of the natural world, as the ancestors communicate through nature.
It can be a great day for achieving your goals, although remember to exercise temperance when dealing with those who you may perceive as obstructing your path. A little force goes a long way today. It is a day to find your answers during a walk in the woods. –Mark Elmy
13 Kej
Kej is the deer who is the guardian of forests, of nature; it represents tranquility and harmony. It is the harmonic tune of creation which is manifested from a spark coming out of a bonfire, a grain of sand, a gentle breeze, a drop of dew in the morning, to the cosmic dance of the universe. When we understand how the cosmic-telluric energies influence us, we can see that Kej is the one that transmutes all these to the creation of nature, it is to see again with other eyes, with another perception.
If we have sharpened our senses, then we recover our ability to see with another vision; this is when we can hear the trees, when we understand what the other living beings are saying, everything takes another perception, we are integrated to everything that surrounds us, we become an integral part of the creation.
In the change of cycle to the new K’atun that began on December 21, 2012, the vision of the human being is related to the fifth dimension and this is commanded by the ether element, everything has a more subtle charge.
According to this new era, we must reach this vision and become those complete human beings who have managed to return to the consciousness of nature, return to the Raxa Kaqulja, the Green Ray of Creation. Raxa Kaqulja is a wholeness and we are part of it.
Kej is to return to the simple, the elemental, but doing it with another vision, without any judgment, fully open and conscious, that is the purpose. –Carlos Barrios
