Kawoq Glyph: The group of spheres represents the members of a family and a group of families that belong to a community. The crosshatching means assistance or collaboration. –Carlos Barrios
Kawoq is family, meetings, group, society, community, country, and continent–anything that can be grouped. It means the strength of unity, greater consciousness, the unfolding of the cosmic plan, growth, fertility. It is the energy for abundance, in both the material and spiritual sense. It is the energy that brings good harvests. Kawoq symbolizes the woman or the wife and the sacred spiritual staff.–Carlos Barrios
Kawoq is a powerful sign that channels massive volumes of energy and force: it symbolizes spiritual connection, contact and communication; blood lightning signals and messages; difficulty; curses, and sacrifice; spiritual unrest and mental conflict and weakness. It is connected to the forces of nature, signifying thunder, lightning, and all manner of power rainstorms–typhoons, cyclones and hurricanes. –Brigitte Rasine
Diana’s Observations:
Today’s nawal representing the nurturing rainstorm, the force of blessing and collective consciousness, aids us in overcoming and clearing away debris and obstacles, facilitating a social rebirth. This day embodies the essence of unity, fertility, and the expansion of consciousness, highlighting the importance of collective efforts toward shared goals of well-being, success, and security.
The first threads of this day, according to the sacred mathematics of the Mayan Cross, were conceived and woven at the beginning of this new 260-day cycle, on 8 B’atz. Both Kawoq and 3 highlight the offspring; effects and results, indicating that what commenced at the onset of this new ritual count is now in a phase of formation. We’re witnessing the emergence of a new era within this sacred cycle.
Within the Trecena of No’j, which signifies thought, ideas, and enlightenment, the nurturance of Kawoq guides us on a path of both release and growth toward solutions, impacting us both individually and collectively. As the guardian of collective well-being, Kawoq empowers us to overcome obstacles and clears our path toward the higher knowledge offered by the No’j Trecena.
Traditionally, ceremonies are held on Kawoq days to address family and social conflicts, alleviate mental illness, restore health to those who are unwell, and resolve disputes. This day is particularly auspicious for prayer and intention-setting aimed at attracting success for our relational endeavors, calling for the rain of Kawoq to bless our crops.
This transformative and thoughtful work is particularly resonant within our communities, families, and social networks today, where clear and constructive communication is paramount.
The enlightening qualities of No’j resonate with the divine-ray energy of Kawoq, akin to a flash illuminating a broader collective vision. Despite the challenges we may encounter, today invites us to transcend mental limitations through our intuition. This day encourages trust in our innermost insights, reinforcing the wisdom-based connection to the cosmic mind inherent in the No’j cycle.
It is a time to connect with our hearts as a resilient guide, interpreting omens, patterns, signs, and revelations that lead us toward success and well-being—not only through our intuitive intellect, but through the wisdom of Ajaw, the Supreme Being.
Observations by Mayan Spiritual Guides:
3 Kawoq
Within the Maya cross, the day 3 Kawoq represents the future of the day Wajxakib (8) B’atz, the birth of the new weaving.Whilst Kawoq represents the midwife energy and the birth process, today is particularly strong as what it is birthing is the day 4 Ajpu. This is the day of creation of a new world, and 3 Kawoq is the midwife which brings it forth.
If the new world comes into being on 4 Ajpu, 3 Kawoq represents that great flood, washing away the old society which no longer serves. Here we see the storm aspect of the day Kawoq strongly highlighted.
This may not be the easiest of days to negotiate, especially if you are trying to hold on to what is being washed away. Perhaps it is time to let go and ride the wave instead.
The energy of the number 3 also represents the internal process. This is a day to call on the energy of the nawal Kawoq to wash away your internal obstacles to the emergence of new growth in your life. –Mark Elmy
3 Kawoq
Kawoq is the energy that teaches us that even though each one of us has an individual purpose to fulfill, we are connected to the joint evolution, we also have a collective purpose that is linked to each being and to nature.Kawoq represents all that is grouped, it is the force that is created through being united, for we are part of a whole, of an earthly and cosmic family.
The energy of Kawoq brings material and spiritual abundance, it is the one that expands, that multiplies, that impels us to share. Today it flows together with the number Oxib’ (3) which symbolizes creativity, movement, and action. This number speaks to us of reciprocity, it teaches us that our actions determine our destiny, that what we give expands and comes back to us.
This is a day to be grateful for the opportunity we have to walk through this life with so many amazing people, for each one of those special beings that fill our existence with joy and light. Let us give thanks for our family, our friends, and our community.
Let us give thanks for existing at this moment, for being part of this great family called humanity with which we walk together in these times of growth and evolution. Let us make the conscious decision to be part of the change in the world, remembering that by expanding, by walking together, we can generate a very powerful energy. –Denise Barrios
Turtle Spirit Animal:
“Determination”, “Perseverance”, “Patience”, “Longevity”,
The Turtle totem teaches us to be determined and remain strong despite obstacles. The Spiritual Totem of the Tortoise supports us in pursuing our path, step by step, even if it takes time.
It urges us to follow its example, to slow down, to trust and to be patient: the expected results will eventually come. It suggests that we're where we're supposed to be and savor the benefits of each moment.
It guides us towards a sense of security and helps us to achieve peace of mind. Turtles know how to be cautious. It teaches us that it's important to know when to withdraw to guarantee our safety or to preserve our peace of mind.
What old patterns or beliefs are being flushed out today, and how can this contribute to both my personal and collective goals? How can I nurture greater patience and constructive communication to enhance healing and understanding in my relationships?
Woooow 😮 todays energy reading is so spot on. That last question about what old patterns and beliefs are being flushed out is such a potent question I’m sitting with. Today is day 7 of a 7 day liver cleanse and I’ve been flushing out toxins all morning. I have been feeling like what I’m releasing is the energetic impact of a trauma bond relationship that I’m recovering from. The limiting beliefs I adopted to stay in it are being released so I can expand. Thank you for this beautiful reading. 🙏🏽
