Let us remember that good fortune is not a result of chance, but rather something that we ourselves project and create. –Denise Barrios

Tz’ikin: Tz’ikin is the far-seeing Eagle, the great bird that soars far above the highest peaks of mountains and pyramids, high above the din of mankind, where only sacred silence and the breath of winds reign.
Sweeping across vast stretches of sky on broad, powerful wings, Tz’ikin enters the dreams of men and women to impart important messages and revelations.
Made of legend, his breadth and acuity of vision surpasses that of any other living thing, and this is why this day sign embodies vision, clarity, perception, and profound understanding. –Brigitte Rasine
Diana’s Observations:
Tz’ikin, the nawal of the sky messenger, vision, and fortune, meets the results-driven energy of Power 3 today. Tz’ikin embodies foresight, panoramic vision, and attention to detail—especially in love, business, finance, and communication. 3 represents determination, motives, and the consequences of one’s choices. 3 Tz’ikin is a day to unite intention with vision, turning ideas into tangible results.
The essence of 3, focused on guarding home, children, work, and inner growth, aligns closely with the Aj Trecena’s themes of protecting and renewing these core spaces. It reflects the process of shaping outcomes from a deep well of love and creativity, persevering through challenges to achieve goals. Meanwhile, Tz’ikin expands our vision beyond the mundane, sharpening our intuition to foresee the broader impact of each action.
While 3 Tz’ikin can broaden our perspective, it can also scatter our focus with emotionally-driven details that drain creative energy. For this reason, Tz’ikin days call for attention to the larger picture, ensuring our efforts align with a higher purpose. With 3, this energy also encourages vigilance against fear, imprudence, or taking excessive risks in the pursuit of achievement.
As a day to receive guidance from higher realms, 3 Tz’ikin highlights the importance of tuning into intuitive insights, dreams, symbols, and signs to enhance projects, home life, and relationships. When connected to the Heart of the Sky in all endeavors, we become instruments of the Great Spirit’s will.
This day reminds us that maintaining this spiritual connection as a guide unifies heart and mind, intellect and meaning in our work. When heart and mind move in harmony, the forces of the cosmos lend their aid, enhancing outcomes and cultivating true prosperity for ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities.

Eagle Spirit Animal:
Both Eagle and Quetzal hold a revered place in Mayan Tradition as symbols of vision, freedom, and the bridge between the earthly and celestial realms.
Eagle, with its keen eyesight and ability to soar high above the world, embodies the qualities that make it a powerful spirit guide for those seeking clarity, perspective, and the courage to reach for their dreams.
The Mayans saw the Eagle as the intermediary between the divine and the human, carrying messages and insights from the heavens to guide us on our earthly journey.
Eagle's vision is eight times greater than that of humans, signifying that this spirit animal bestows upon its followers the gift of seeing the bigger picture, gaining a higher perspective to better assess situations and make informed choices.
Observations by Mayan Spiritual Guides:
3 Tz'ikin
This is a day to work on your inner vision for the future, possibly to meditate on what your options are to bring prosperity to your home. It is a day for quietly working on your inner vision.
Tz’ikin days are usually enjoyable. They are social, visionary and prosperous, but today it is possible that all of those qualities are obstructed as the influence of the number 3 comes into play.Whilst its combination with the highly positive energy of the nawal Tz’ikin may be cause its effect to be softened, it is possible that this Tz’ikin day may not be as beneficial as other Tz’ikin days.
The most positive aspect of the 3 relates to the home, and perhaps this will be a more fortunate place to focus Tz’ikin‘s visionary aspects today. –Mark Elmy
3 Tz'ikin
Today we are accompanied by the energies of Tz’ikin, who opens paths of good fortune, and Oxib’, who activates the power to create. My father, Tat Carlos Barrios, born under the star of Tz’ikin, used to say the power of this day is so great it can make possible what seems impossible. What matters is remembering that this reality is created by us and believing, without leaving room for doubt, that yes, we can create it.
This was not something he only said, he lived it. He had such a certainty that he would achieve what he set out to do, that sometimes it seemed like he made magic. Things happened to him so amazing that when told, they could seem hard to believe.
This is what I want to share today: we all have that same capacity to create, we just need to believe it. –Denise Barrios
