Diana’s Observations:
I’x—nawal of Earth, feminine prowess, and psychic ability—merges with the natural order and stability of Power 4 today. Subtle currents of sensitivity move through I’x, opening intuitive capacity on one level, while its strong, grounding force draws us into material experience on another. Its resourceful essence is held and secured by the energy of 4, marking 4 I’x as a day for mystical insights and intuitive manifestation in every creative endeavor.
Stabilizing and strengthening the new weavings of the B’atz Trecena, 4 I’x brings material outcomes into form as part of creative or healing processes. It points to manifestation arising not solely from conscious intention, but through attunement to intuitive signals—visions, sensations, emotions, and inner nudges that move beyond intellect. This energy evokes a landscape where rich fauna and flora unfold, shaped by innovative choices woven from the spiritual and unifying threads of B’atz.
As a symbol of the Universe’s creative currents, I’x embodies the feminine light seeded in matter—the innate power to nurture, transform, and protect. This generative force moves with instinct and expressive creativity. In union with the solar 4, reflecting the fourfold dimensions of conscious life, this day becomes a balanced channel for bringing the subtle magic of I’x into tangible expression.
This is an auspicious moment to unite spirit with substance, artistry with action, flexibility with stability—revealing the art of drawing inspiration, resources, and new experiences through receptive listening and embodied intuition. Jaguar Spirit Animal:
The Jaguar, or Balam in the Maya language, holds supreme status in K'iche' and Yucatec traditions. In the Pop Wuj, the Jaguar is profoundly associated with the night and the Underworld (Xibalba), where one of the original four human ancestors is named Dark Jaguar.
The most significant connection is that the nocturnal jaguar is the form the Sun God takes on for its nightly journey through Xibalba. This duality—the daytime sun becoming the night jaguar—makes it a master of both worlds and a symbol of transcendence, power, and the cycle of death and rebirth.
The Jaguar Spirit can be invoked when one needs to face their inner shadows with raw courage or when its formidable energy is required for protection and leadership.
It guides one to access deep, inner power and perceive the hidden truths that exist beneath the surface of reality. Through its mastery of stealth and patience, the Jaguar teaches the perfect timing for every move. It is also called upon for the wisdom to wisely conserve and protect its resources, ensuring no energy is wasted and survival is secured.
Observations by Mayan Spiritual Guides:
4 I’x
The nawal Ix brings us the ability to call on mother Earth to provide us with the materials we require to walk our path. We do this simply by asking, by using our words, particularly at special places such as shrines or altars.
With this day carrying the number 4, the energy of nawal Ix is empowered by the qualities of the four directions – strength, wisdom, spirit and healing. These are the qualities that support the stability of what they are attached to. Hence, asking for what you need in life is likely to yield a positive result.
The nawal Ix also has a deeply esoteric side, however it is termed the simplest word to describe its gift is magic. We may shy away from the use of such words, but Ix enhances our ability to co-create with our surroundings. It reminds us that the power to shape our environment is in our hands, as is the responsibility. The energy of 4 Ix suggests that our ability to co-create, our “magic”, may be quite apparent in the physical realm today. –Mark Elmy4 I’x
Today we are vibrating in the wisdom of I’x, which is one of the energies that most reminds us that we carry within us the potential and power to create and achieve everything we dream of.
4 I’x is the moment of creation when life is born from the womb of Mother Earth; it is the plants, the fish, the trees, every form of life that emerges from the feminine energy, that life-giving energy. This Ch’umil is the magic that emerges from the cosmos and nature. It is our inner magic, the capacity we have to increase our vision and intuition and capture the messages of the universe, to manage the energies so that we can realize that which seems extraordinary. –Denise Barrios
