Today’s nawal of evolution channels its transformational currents into our work, efforts, and actions. Kan, the cosmic feathered serpent, transmutes and evolves all it touches, while Power 5 directs these dynamic changes toward specific aims, operations, and tangible progress.
While the Imox Trecena began as a surge of unpredictable tides, today’s 5 Kan gathers its chaotic waters into a single wave, bringing clarity and direction through focus, asserted power, and purposeful transmutation. Where we may have felt aimless, today gives way for decisive action and the momentum for radical change.
Though asserting power can sometimes suggest dominance, it is often this very energy of directed intervention–rooted in deeper knowing–that truly transforms mental limitations and illusions into the light of truth and expansion.

5 Kan: As we continue to move through the trecena of Imox, we now see the first sign of sentient life. Kan, representing the lightning in the blood, the life force energy, appears and brings this life force to the new embryo.
This can be thought of as a spark of life being received by the vessel, the cluster of cells.
This is not to say that it was not part of life before, but now that it has implanted in the womb, it is fully ready to be empowered. This process happens time and time again throughout our lives, empowering us, enlivening us and ultimately bringing us wisdom.
