E’ is the nawal that gently guides us along the journey of life, inspiring us to fulfill our purpose and mission. It is both destiny and the sacred road—symbolizing not only the physical journey but also the spiritual direction leading us toward growth, discovery, and self-realization. E’ embodies the force that propels us along this path, supporting each step of our evolution.
As the Saq’ Be’—the White Road—E’ integrates communication, commerce, travel, learning, and the exchange between people, realms, ideas, and generations. Its presence serves as protector and guide, realigning our trajectory whenever we lose sight of our higher calling, and manifesting through projects, exchanges, journeys, and both material and spiritual pursuits.
E’ ultimately embodies the living quest of “becoming the path” itself, inviting us to align our intent, deeds, and conduct, moment by moment, with the principles and aspirations we choose to uphold. This shapes our life and character naturally by living our path each day, rather than seeing our destiny as a distant ideal.

1 E’
Today is Jun (1) E’, kicking off a new Trecena (13-Day cycle theme) .
1 is birth and beginnings.
The E’ Trecena is dedicated to clarifying and aligning our path and purpose. During this time, we can renew our intentions and express gratitude for our journey, relationships, and sustenance. The explorative, questing spirit of E’ supports us in seeking new opportunities in studies, business, and well-being.
These days are especially favorable for travel, making connections across distances, planning ventures, signing agreements, and nurturing both personal and group relationships. E’ is a time to appreciate what we have and to consciously ask for support and guidance on our journey.
We’re encouraged to stay open and attentive to signs and synchronicities on our journey, remaining mindful not to judge ourselves or compare our path to others. Every challenge or advancement is an integral part of the sacred road.

E’ Mesoamerican Mythos
[Excerpts]
"To the Maya, time is 'a man walking along the road'. In a Mayan creation tale, dating from perhaps the late 16th century, four Maya women see a man's footprints along a path. They proceed to measure the footprints 'in accordance with the Word of the Mistress of the World.'
By doing so, they create time, the Sacred Calendar itself. To the Maya, all of time is perceived as a path. The gods walk the path; so do human beings. In that sense, the path of time is the road of history as well."
- Kenneth Johnson, Mayan Calendar Astrology
"E’ represents the stairs between the world, the overworld, and the underworld. It indicates where to walk. It also symbolizes the staircase and individual steps on the spiritual path, represented by teeth. E lays out the vertical and horizontal lines we need to follow as individuals and as members of society."
-Carlos Barrios, The Book of Destiny
Bobcat Spirit Animal:
As a cunning hunter, the bobcat seamlessly blends into its surroundings, using its natural camouflage as one of its greatest advantages. The bobcat is inherently solitary, which is particularly meaningful for those seeking self-discovery and inner strength.
Bobcat medicine teaches that while one may appear alone, they are always surrounded by the Great Spirit, ancestors, and cosmic energies in the wilderness. In solitude, amidst the natural forces of the Universe, profound magic is revealed—an experience that cannot be attained otherwise.
Shamanic traditions regard the bobcat as a wise and ancient soul, often drawn to other old souls on Earth. These individuals frequently struggle to sift through the vast mystical knowledge accumulated over lifetimes. The bobcat spirit assists in navigating this wilderness with grace, enabling you to integrate your life lessons effectively.
