Imox: Associated with powerful psychic forces, Imox represents what is often called the “left side of reality”–those other dimensions, worlds, levels of existence that are unusual, eccentric, or in general deemed outside of what is “normal”.
Accordingly, Imox symbolizes not only the receptivity to communication with or messages from these other realities and the ability to see into other worlds, but also madness, insanity, mental disorder, nervousness, uncertainty, and doubt.
Imox is a difficult day sign, for these things are not simple to navigate or understand; in fact, they can be altogether frightening. Yet Imox also signifies cooperation, especially in terms of the left arm working in concert with the right. –Brigitte Rasine
Diana’s Observations:
Today’s mystical waters of Imox, embodying the collective psyche and healing, are stirred by the dynamic energy of 11. This potent combination may spring forth a burst of magic that disperses into new possibilities. It is a day to break free from stagnant routine through the healing power of creativity and acting upon our intuitive insights.
The fluid wisdom of Imox invites us to delve into the hidden forces within – the unusual and secrets concealed in the depths of our consciousness. 11 facilitates this journey, guiding us to extract wisdom through both active exploration and receptive surrender, encouraging us to play with both order and chaos.
By interpreting abstractions and symbols from both our dreams and waking experiences, we can uncover secret aspects of ourselves, including our internal powers. Engaging in creative pursuits is an ideal way to harness and stabilize these potentially chaotic energies, allowing us to develop our unconscious and hidden talents.
11 Imox supports artists, musicians, writers, and healers, resonating with the overarching theme of the B'atz Trecena, emphasizing new beginnings and creative unity. This energy invites us to explore visionary endeavors, curiously follow unusual threads, try new approaches, and tend to the rare and the unknown. Imox strengthens the unity of ideas, representing the power of the mind, guiding us toward our understanding our unique talents.
All Imox days remind us of the importance of establishing our individuality over seeking collective approval. This nawal has the potential to transform our self-perception, guiding us toward our highest potential. For this reason, Imox days are ideal for nurturing our creativity and distinct qualities. Additionally, this day is auspicious for praying for the purity and vitality of all bodies of water, both in nature and within our bodies, reflecting the healing and magical qualities of Imox.
Observations by Mayan Spiritual Guides:
11 Imox
Imox does have some positive qualities with regards to creation and nurture, but it is also associated with insanity. It can be seen as the eccentric artist able to beautifully interpret their dreams or sentiment of society through their preferred medium, but who find great challenge living in the physical world. This generally comes as a result of their level of receptivity, they feel everything the collective feels, the joy and the grief.Imox days are intimately connected with the spirit of the times, but this can also break down to a herd mentality.
The energy of Imox days may sometimes make it difficult to think clearly, especially when it comes to breaking free of the collective. When combined with the powerful and directionless energy of the number 11, a very potent mix may arise.
All that strength combined with so much creative potential could give rise to a work of genius, or it could give rise to an angry mob looking for direction to release the frustration of the collective.
Possibly the most effective use of this day would be as a creative retreat. Disconnect from the media, in particular, get out into nature and allow your creative side to be inspired.
Choose wisely who you let into your consciousness today, you may not realize whose thoughts you are thinking. –Mark Elmy
11 Imox
In relation to the energies of the 20 Ch’umilal that we are assimilating during this cycle, before Wajxaqib’ (8) B’atz’ – the Cholq’ij new year, today we receive the power of Ajaw 11 Imox.“11 Imox created the stones and the trees. It did it within the Sun.” -Chilam B’alam de Chumayel, Maya Yucatec text.
In the chain of Creation Ajaw Imox is the one that brings magic, the one that breaks the structures, the one that manifests the inner powers such as vision, intuition, and dreams. Everything that Tz’ikin provides, Imox develops.
This energy is the one that connects us to our magical side, that allows us to accomplish the integration of all our powers. It is the merging of magic and knowledge; the force that allows us to connect with our inner wisdom to activate our powers, to ignite that magical knowledge that resides within us.
Imox gives us the courage to break with the established reality, to become receptive, and to open the space to perception, sensitivity, and to all those unusual experiences that connect us to the magical and energetic plane.
Imox is also the symbol of water, that element that nourishes life. Water is the energy that cleanses, heals, and purifies, it is a power that impels and allows us to flow, it is a powerful and subtle force that breaks up the rigidity. –Denise Barrios

How can I nurture my unique talents and gifts, even if they seem unusual or unconventional to others? What hidden forces or secrets are my dreams revealing to me today? How can I integrate these insights into my waking life?

‘What hidden forces or secrets are my dreams revealing to me today?’ I jumped from one dream into another last night, they seemed important. Unfortunately they vanished as quickly as I jumped from one to the next when I woke up 😆🥲
I did have a nightmarish one the night after New Year’s Day that made me think of Imox! Which I hope was a non predictive one 😅 felt more like it ‘already happened’ but so very real 🫤 I was on a ship close to some tropical island, and the only person who could hear a bomb coming closer, real Pearl Harbour feels 🫣 clothing from that time period. Like I was an outsider watching but also in it. Bomb hit and I was in the water seeing a massive wave and the whole ship and the other people about to fall on top of me. Woke up right on time 😂
