B’atz symbolizes evolution, movement, motion, and development; initiation, affirmation, and favorable divination readings; intelligence and wisdom; and especially marriage and pregnancy.
B’atz is the nawal of the arts, artists, and the art of weaving, and as such, represents all concepts and elements of life related to art and weaving, from time itself–called by the Maya “the thread of life” to the life-connecting umbilical cord. –Brigitte Rasine
Diana’s Observations:
Today’s nawal of arts and bonds materializes on the physical plane, weaving symmetrical patterns of integrity and stability. While B’atz inspires joy, connection, and innovation, Power 4 secures its creative essence with concentration and durability. 4 B’atz brings our hands and focus into the fertile soils of the Q’anil Trecena, helping our seeds of ideas and intentions sprout into physical form.
B’atz offers gifts of performance, unity of ideas, and problem-solving, supporting the fulfillment of our mission and destiny. Paired with 4, this day invites practicality–putting things in order to eliminate distractions and focus our energy on the goals we’ve set. It also calls us to weave joy and patience into all undertakings.
Whether a creative project is taking shape or we’re witnessing the first stages of a solution, organization is needed to bring coherence and stability to our strategies for growth. Under the gestative influence of Q’anil, teaching us to let projects and intentions unfold organically, this day also guides us to practice patience and mindfulness as we manifest our ideas.
Today’s teachings encourage us to keep knitting our ideas, plans, and projects together, maintaining the momentum, as 4’s stability can also become stagnant and rigid, so it’s important to keep weaving. Monkey medicine helps us problem-solve and strengthens community, so if we need support or feedback to ground our ideas, today is the day to reach out and get the figurative yarn ball rolling.

Monkey Spirit Animal:
Monkey teaches you how to find joy in exploration, all while keeping things fun! Like humans, Monkeys are communal Animals, enjoying the company of others while navigating through life.
On a more serious note, Monkeys develop profound bonds and have great compassion for their fellows. They communicate and interact with one another.
One of Monkey’s lessons is that your time on earth touches many other people. There is no reason to be a figurative island. Monkey says, “Reach out to your troop and hold them dear.” In a tight situation, Monkeys symbolize creative problem-solving. –Bernadette King

4 B’atz
B’atz’ speaks to us of the interconnectedness of all things, it tells us that we are merely a thread in the tapestry of life, and every stitch we make through the energy we emit and what we do is woven in the fabric of all existence.
Let us take advantage of the opportunity this day offers us to plant seeds of harmony, love, and joy in ourselves and in each being; seeds that help us stay united, even in our differences. –Denise Barrios
