B’atz Glyph: The top part of the glyph is a cone that has time rolled up in it. The cone descends to a triangle, which represents our dimension, and then to the sphere of the Earth, passing through the angles, which are the two polarities; masculine and feminine.
B’atz is the start of life, infinite time, and unity. B’atz is the deity that created Earth and Sky, the Creator of life and wisdom. It signifies the time it takes for a child to develop in the womb. It also symbolizes the umbilical cord.
This sign symbolizes time unraveled, evolution, and human life. B’atz unites men and women and governs marriage.
The Maya depict time as a thread wound around a giant reed underneath the Earth. This thread is unraveled as time goes by. History is woven from time, just as clothing is made from woven threads. –Carlos Barrios
Diana’s Observations:
B’atz, the nawal of time, continuity, union, and the arts, weaves its forces today with the dedicated and diligent energy of Power 5. Guiding the fulfillment of destiny, love bonds, projects, and spirituality, B’atz synergizes with the devotional qualities of 5. Together, 5 B’atz embodies harmonious service toward future visions, uniting actions and solutions.
Supported by the solidity and stability of the Kej Trecena, today helps us put affairs in order, resolve family or marriage matters, and weave productive relationships and projects. This day suggests that threads of service, woven with love and intention, create a tapestry of healing, new beginnings, practical intelligence, and innovations for the common good.
The unifying spirit of this day can be felt as information and ideas linking together to produce solutions previously unseen. Insights, events, and abilities gathered now become threads woven into the fulfillment and blessings of the Kej Trecena, as this day conceives the 13th and final day of this cycle in the Mayan Cross. The key tone to embody today is a blend of coherence and enthusiasm.
5 B’atz also connects responsibility with a higher purpose, not just for the individual but for the collective. This is an opportune time to move beyond self-interest, infusing our creative acts with love, joy, and strength as offerings for the collective and to the spiritual polarities of nature that B’atz embodies—Heart of Sky and Heart of Earth, and Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine. These creative intelligences work together through us, balancing our existence and guiding the fulfillment of our destiny.

Monkey Spirit Animal:
Monkey teaches you how to find joy in exploration, all while keeping things fun! Like humans, Monkeys are communal Animals, enjoying the company of others while navigating through life.
On a more serious note, Monkeys develop profound bonds and have great compassion for their fellows. They communicate and interact with one another.
One of Monkey’s lessons is that your time on earth touches many other people. There is no reason to be a figurative island. Monkey says, “Reach out to your troop and hold them dear.” In a tight situation, Monkeys symbolize creative problem-solving. –Bernadette King
Observations by Mayan Spiritual Guides:
5 B’atz
The energy of B’atz days is thought of as being very favorable, especially for the arts – after all, they are always full of creative potential. Even when coupled with the energy of a more challenging number such as 5, they can still be beneficial. If you need to get working on a creative project, today will prove very useful. The energy of B’atz is interwoven with the number 5, bringing an industrious impulse to the day, although that does not have to take away from the artistic feeling.
On some days it is difficult to get started, and yet other days the creation flows from you. The only way you could be more productive would be if there were more hours in the day. –Mark Elmy
5 B’atz
B’atz’ connects us to spontaneity, to the wonder that comes when we release control and allow life to express itself through us. Its creative energy arises from the force that transforms what we feel into beauty, into art.B’atz’ reminds us that the love and creativity we share can also bring healing. Job’ brings movement and action. It encourages us to create from who we are and to express what is true within us.
The energies that accompany us today invite us to give space to our creativity and spontaneity, to let them arise without forcing or seeking perfection. It is simply about being present, allowing our creative energy to come through, and from there opening paths toward the love and healing that live within us.

✍🏼 Journal Prompts of the Day:
What new ideas am I ready to weave into my life with clarity and enthusiasm?
How am I using my time and creativity to serve a higher purpose beyond myself?
How can I channel my authentic self into meaningful actions that inspire growth and restoration in myself and others?

Such a beautiful experience you've shared! The fox, it is one of the spirit animals in the Calendae but I never use it because I've only seen it in one resource. I'll share it with you when the day comes 😊 You may share the Carlos Barrios quote and any infotmation here. It all wants to be shared with the world. Thanks for checking in!
Diana, the Dedicated Diva. I am so excited to get this opportunity to share with you the positive impact your work as had on my life. Before I share, I would like to say. I hope your day has been universally unifying in the most unique way possible. I will like to start by sharing an experience I had yesterday after commenting on your post. I went to commune with nature, a recent ritual of mine and when I got to my favorite place in the forest I rested and for the first time. I actually was present, I slowed down and noticed all the things are me. I took my time, which is rare for someone like me as I am always on the go, learning something or trying something new. I was just there enjoying the quiet all around me. I then placed my hands on my favorite tree and just kept them there, then out of nowhere a baby fox came by my path really close to me. It saw me and ran away quickly but I was amazed at how calm I was, as that was a fist experience for me and I do not know much about foxes but it does make me curious because of the calendar seems to highlight animals all the time. I am experiencing a deeper connection with nature. And now I get to talk about today, it has been a magnificent day for me as I have been weaving projects and passions of mine that I have not thought to do from the cooking, domestic insects and social media it has been such joy and pleasure. I am listening to my affirmations now as I write to you and I will share one of them for today. " I embody a blend of coherence and enthusiasm as an individual and for the collective under grace in perfect ways." Sending you much appreciation dear one, but before I go I would like to ask if you would mind if I use the Carlos Barrios quote about B'atz on a note of mine as I believe his words would be better then mine. I am wanted to weave together a secret passion project of mine and use his words if that is ok with you? Anyway, dear one, thanks as always Dedicated Diva sending you much joy for your day!
