E’ in K’iche’ Maya, represents the Road, the Saq B’e or the sacred path that we all travel on our quest for self-fulfillment and realization.
This is the path of destiny, the road we travel to develop, discover, and evolve our personal history and future imprinting; it is also the activity and movement of travel, moving us toward our horizon, our goals and aims in life. It is the connection between people, places, dimensions, and worlds.E’ is the patron of travelers, protector of merchants, and the nawal of all roads and road guides. –Brigitte Rasine
Diana’s Observations:
Today, 9 E' invites us on a spiritual pilgrimage, illuminating and paving the way for new life pathways with sensitivity. E' embodies the paths we traverse, encompassing the various components of our journey, and guides us toward opportunities and reorientations in both practical and spiritual realms.
The number 9, imbued with feminine potency, fertility, and life cycles, heightens our sensitivity to the subtle cues and messages emerging along our life path. This day amplifies our receptivity to these subtle signals, energizing our spiritual and emotional connection to the unfolding journey.
As we initiate the new 260-day ritual count, the Trecena of K'at continues to guide our awareness through the collection of resources, ideas, and perspectives, as well as the magnetic forces of our social bonds. E' also governs trade, commerce, as well as the obstacles we may encounter in our social interactions.
We may still be clearing turbulence and emotional remnants from the previous cycle. If this is the case, today is a propitious moment to pray and intend for a clear path, free from obstacles, as we move toward a renewed and revitalized journey.
It’s important to remember that E' guides us on a virtuous path, where we take responsibility for our actions and walk with full respect for others, acknowledging that all our actions have consequences. Mayan elders teach that our actions, whether positive or negative, will be placed upon our path. The K'at Trecena reinforces this teaching, reminding us that we create our own entanglements and prisons, yet we also possess the power to liberate ourselves from the traps of our mistakes.
9 E' invites the creative envisioning of a new map for ourselves, connected to our desires for exploration and novelty to nurture our growth and aspirations. This is an auspicious time to journal and record what we aim to achieve and develop during this new 260-day journey, allowing us to intentionally program our path with creativity, clarity and purpose.
This day reminds us that by tuning into our heart's wisdom and acting upon our highest excitement, our path becomes clearer. Trusting our enthusiasm and following our intuition are key to unlocking the most fulfilling journey.
Observations by Mayan Spiritual Guides:
9 E’
The nawal E’ represents the journey of discovery in all senses. Whilst these are generally good days for physical journeys, today may have more emphasis on your life path. Yesterday, a new cycle began, a new ceremonial cycle.Today is the day where where the energy of E’ is here to help us to see and understand our life path.
If you are lost, stranded or just plain stuck, this is the day to ask of nawal E’ “show me where I am supposed to be going.” Being as the number 9 also represents the feminine, this may be the day to consult women in your life in particular for the answers to questions about your life path.
E’ may answer, through conversations with others, through “little signs”. It is the day to see where life wants to take you. –Mark Elmy
9 E’
One of the teachings I received from a grandmother and teacher is that now that the cycle of creation that shaped this reality has ended, we begin to traverse a period of forty days of calm and connection with our being, much like a mother does after giving birth to her child. At the end of these forty days, we will reach the energy of B’elejeb’ -9- B’atz’, the Ch’umil that manifests feminine energy and connection to the subtlest and most spiritual planes.
This 40-day journey brings together the energies of Wajxaqib’[8] B’atz and B’elejeb’[9] B’atz’ so that balance emerges between the physical, material, and masculine plane, and the feminine, subtle, and spiritual plane, thus allowing us to achieve the balance and completeness that are so essential for life. –Denise Barrios
Bobcat Spirit Animal:
“Solitary,” “Silence,” “Introspection,” “Ancient Wisdom,” “Uncovering Secrets.”
As a cunning hunter, the bobcat seamlessly blends into its surroundings, using its natural camouflage as one of its greatest advantages. The bobcat is inherently solitary, which is particularly meaningful for those seeking self-discovery and inner strength.
Bobcat medicine teaches that while one may appear alone, they are always surrounded by the Great Spirit, ancestors, and cosmic energies in the wilderness. In solitude, amidst the natural forces of the Universe, profound magic is revealed—an experience that cannot be attained otherwise.
Shamanic traditions regard the bobcat as a wise and ancient soul, often drawn to other old souls on Earth. These individuals frequently struggle to sift through the vast mystical knowledge accumulated over lifetimes. The bobcat spirit assists in navigating this wilderness with grace, enabling you to integrate your life lessons effectively.
As I stand at the threshold of renewal, which paths do I feel called to nurture and integrate into my future journey? What intuitive whispers are guiding me toward new explorations?

🫠 I rest my case 💞🥹✨
